We had the pleasure of illustrating Toco Goes Loco, a children’s story centred around self-discovery, individuality and finding confidence in what makes you different.

The project followed Toco, a young toucan who is unable to fly like the others, and instead learns to embrace his own unique strengths through movement, curiosity and play.

We created a series of consistent, character-led illustrations alongside a custom typeface, designed to feel playful yet grounded. Through soft form, thoughtful composition and a cohesive visual language, the artwork supports the emotional tone of the story while remaining engaging and accessible for young readers.

Each element was carefully considered to feel timeless and warm, helping bring Toco’s journey to life in a way that feels both meaningful and memorable.
